The Biathlon Integrity Unit is responsible for ensuring any person involved in Biathlon abides by the rules set out in the Integrity Code, to ensure fair competition in the sport of Biathlon.
It is imperative that anyone involved in Biathlon – from athletes and coaches, to medical professionals and parents – must understand and respect these rules, and also the functionality and process of the Biathlon Integrity Unit as it seeks to protect its clean athletes.
In order to further strengthen the fight against anti-doping and other integrity-related issues, WADA has revised its Code and their changes are reflected in the IBU Integrity Code, which is valid from 01 January 2021. All WADA Standards can be found HERE.
